Maureen McLaughlin is Board Certified in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. Before attending Traditional Chinese Medicine Graduate School, she had obtained a Bachelor’s Degree from Georgetown University’s School of Languages & Linguistics.
Maureen is a holistic acupuncturist with a private practice in Stoughton, Wisconsin (near Madison WI) who specializes in infertility, pregnancy, and postpartum. She has been administering acupuncture, with high success rates, at IVF transfers since 2003.
She practices Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture and microneedling, and helps with menopause for the “over 40” population.
Additionally, she treats all conditions that are recognized as responsive to acupuncture and its adjunctive techniques such as gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal, upper respiratory, emotional/mental, neurological, gynecological and dermatological.
Treatment modalities include acupuncture, lifestyle changes and chinese & western dietary therapy, traditional fire cupping, gua sha [scraping the skin], electroacupuncture, moxabustion, heat lamp therapy, acupressure, (she is a Certified Acupressurist) and chinese herbal medicine. Currently Maureen gives acupuncture on-site at transfers at Advanced Fertility Center of Chicago in Gurnee, IL.
